What I like about the CrossFit Sands is that regardless of whether you are young or old, male or female, fit or unfit, fat, thin or somewhere in between you are made to feel welcome by the coaches and can take part in the Wods at a level that’s right for you. Aurelia, Bex, Joff, Mikkel and Cyrus will remember your name and welcome you – which is always nice.
CrossFit certainly isn’t for the faint hearted but if you want to improve your overall fitness, strength and agility then it’s definitely worth a try. The workouts vary daily and before long you find yourself achieving things you thought were not possible like climbing a rope and a handstand pushup! The coaches feel more like personal trainers and know when technical improvement advice, a challenge or just plain encouragement is required!
